Project: Harlem Arts Festival & The New York Family Arts Festival

The Riverside Church is an interdenominational and interracial congregation.

 

The Harlem Arts Festival is an annual event highlighting and marketing the works of the Harlem arts community and artists throughout New York City. The festival features art exhibits, musicians, poetry readings, theater and dance. The purpose of the festival is to provide resources, visibility, and career opportunities to the artists and to increase participation and engagement in the arts by the Harlem community. The proceeds along with donations help in funding the artists.

The New York Family Arts Festival is an annual month-long celebration of dance, music, storytelling, arts and crafts and cuisines from around the globe.

​

The designs were based on the client’s brief for fun, colorful illustrations  and photographs to represent the festivities offered at the event.
