This unique flower series box is handcrafted and signed by Karen Kelleher Carneiro. A perfect home for jewelry, keepsakes or as a beautiful gift. Inspired by nature, it is a one of a kind functional piece of art. 

The wooden box has been enhanced with copper leaf and patinas in reds and browns. The finish is an antique varnish with a protective glossy resin coating.

The decorative lid is layered with handmade leaf and lace papers. Adorned with my photographs in sepia of a poppy, a dahlia and a rose. Color photos of the flower details were added on top of the sepia images. Dried bougainvillea petals, skeleton leaves and carnelian healing stones have been embedded into the resin on the lid and sides. Embellished with decorative corners and green glass chips. The sides have crystal beaded and red lace trim, leaf skeletons and carnelian stones. The lid is hinged in the back with a front latch. The bottom is felt lined with painted wooded legs. 

The interior is painted metallic copper and varnished. The padded bottom is lined with red taffeta. The interior lid has a mirror decorated with red beaded trim.
