This unique Buddha box is handcrafted and signed by Karen Kelleher Carneiro. A perfect home for jewelry, keepsakes or as a beautiful gift. Inspired by Asian culture, it is a one of a kind functional piece of art. 

The wooden box has been painted brown and metallic gold protected with a gloss varnish.

The decorative lid is covered in a blue flowered silk. Embellished with a Buddha, Chinese coins, carnelian healing stones and a photograph of candles taken during a ceremony in Nepal. A brass piece with tassel hangs from the frame.

The sides are embellished with Chinese coins and a multicolored beaded trim. The lid is hinged in the back with a front latch. The bottom is felt lined with painted wooden legs.

The interior is painted brown and varnished. The padded bottom is lined with matching silk. The interior lid has a mirror decorated with beaded trim and Chinese coins.
