This conference brought together tens of thousands of participants, Heads of State, Governments, delegates and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), from all corners of the globe. The conference focused on challenges and direct action needed to improve people's lives and conserving our natural resources. Issues included the increasing demands for food, water, shelter, sanitation, energy, health services and economic security.
