Client: Bridge of Hope, learning centre and residence for street children, Sudan

Project: Marketing presentation

Bridge of Hopes' aim is to restore self-worth and dignity to each child, helping them to become well adjusted and beneficial in their communities.

Bridge of Hope provides a secure and loving home for boys that live on the streets. Providing a protective environment from drug and sexual abuse. Whenever possible the children are settled back with their families.

The facility provides clean water for washing and laundry, medical care, nutritional food, an education though the learning center (as less than 5% of displaced children attend school), a scholarship programme and vocational training.

In need of funding I developed a marketing presentation, including the photography, design and writing of human-interest stories, children's successes and fact sheets. The package was used to raise funds from donors to maintain and expand the street children's NGO in Khartoum.

In addition, I coordinated and developed an art programme curriculum for the learning centre. The curriculum incorporated the Sudanese culture with creative art projects.
