A proposal to secure funding for the relaunch of IRIN as an independent humanitarian news and analysis service. IRIN provides reporting on global crises in regions often under reported. Their goal is to create greater awareness and understanding of regional issues and events. Contributing to a better-informed and more effective humanitarian action.
The proposal was successful and resulted in receiving the funding needed to become an independent network.
