This unique Angel box is handcrafted and signed by Karen Kelleher Carneiro. A perfect home for jewelry, keepsakes or as a beautiful gift for your little girl. Inspired by angels, fairies, nature and fantasy, it is a one of a kind functional piece of art.

 

The wooden box has been enhanced with gold leaf and patinas in red and brown. The sides are painted in a metallic bronze and copper with a gloss varnish.  The lid is protected with a glossy resin finish.

 

The decorative lid is adorned with a metallic angel, birds, dragonflies, colorful flowers and feathers. Further enhanced with moss, colorful painted died leaves, driftwood and woodsy bits, crystals and rhinestones. Gold metallic flowered trim and colorful beaded trim wraps around the top edge with a butterfly embellishment. The lid is hinged in the back with a front latch. The bottom is felt lined with crystal legs.

 

The interior is painted a metallic bronze and varnished. The inside lid in lined with handmade bark paper and embellished with birds, flowers and rhinestones. The padded bottom is lined with a colorful striped handmade fabric “Tais” from East Timor.
